ACTIVITY : DECODE THE DILEMMA
Objective:
To facilitate students' understanding of HRM operations within a corporate setting.
To foster the enhancement of students' logical reasoning and innovative thinking abilities.
Outcome:
The activity helped students to grasp the role and duties of HR professionals in the corporate environment.
Students from other specializations gained insight into a range of HR theories and practices.
Brief Report:
The event started at 5:00 pm with a concise overview of HRM and the significance of case studies in acquiring deeper insights. Participants formed teams of two, each assigned a case study pertaining to distinct modules of Human Resource Management such as Recruitment and Selection, Compensation Management, Grievance Handling, and Performance Appraisal. With a time limit of 30 minutes, teams meticulously crafted the facts, assumptions, and responses to the case study questions. Subsequently, each team took the stage to elucidate their respective case and rationale behind their chosen solution.
