I have completed my first year of BBA Honours at SCMS Hyderabad and had a great experience. The faculty is supportive, and the multidisciplinary programme structure keeps learning engaging. The COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) marketing course provided a valuable platform to collaborate with international peers and explore marketing through a cross-cultural lens. It significantly enhanced my communication, teamwork, and global market analysis skills. Working on real-world marketing projects offered practical exposure to how cultural variations shape branding, advertising strategies, and consumer engagement across different markets.
One aspect of the academic experience at SCMS Hyderabad, I valued most was the emphasis on active learning. Lessons extended beyond passive listening, as we consistently applied our knowledge through presentations and assignments. This approach brought concepts to life and helped me develop skills that I am confident will remain with me well beyond my college years.
As the Head of the Music Club and a member of the different clubs, I can confidently speak on behalf of those who are passionate about the fine arts. Our campus not only provides a platform to showcase talent but also ensures the necessary resources and support to help students enhance their skills and build confidence.
My journey at SCMS Hyderabad was truly memorable, especially due to my active involvement in sports. Participating in cricket and football during the Synergia 2025 fest was a highlight. I also had the opportunity to volunteer with the Disciplinary Committee, managing key cultural events. SCMS provided a perfect balance of academics, sports, and extracurriculars that enriched my overall experience.
Along with academics, our college also encourages us to take part in various co-curricular activities. We have different clubs pioneered by students – Cultural Club (Art, Dance, Music), Photography Club, Literature Club, PR Club, ISR (Institute Social Responsibility Club) and Sports Club. These clubs are focused on providing students with the opportunity to explore their interests.
The campus life here at SCMS-H has been an enthralling experience for all of us. It truly exhilarates me to meet students from all over the country, learn about different cultures and explore different interests.
I was thrilled to take part in the DYNA QUEST – A Management Quiz for BBA students, organized on the 1st edition of SymbiNeeti – The Management Conclave. The seminars, workshops and panel discussions by industry leaders, which have been extremely helpful in understanding the latest trends in corporate world and making us industry ready.
The pedagogy at SCMS-H revolves around real life situations in the corporate world. The college also provides internships and other experiential learning opportunities to help students gain practical experience in their chosen fields.
I was a part of SymbiFit 8.0 held in Pune. I’m very appreciative of the college’s effort in making sports such an important part of our experience.
The Photography Club has provided me with an amazing platform to explore my passion for photography and meet like - minded people. The Club recently organized a nature themed photography competition in which I bagged the second prize. It has helped me hone my skills and gain knowledge about the art.
