The fest was further enriched by a series of engaging academic activities that brought together creativity, strategy, and real-world learning. One of the key highlights was Galli Panchayat, organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) in collaboration with the International Cell. This interactive role-play event simulated a local public hearing where participants represented various stakeholders such as street vendors, corporate representatives, government officials, and residents. Teams debated the central issue of informal vendors versus corporate interests, presenting arguments, negotiating perspectives, and working towards a collective resolution. The event encouraged critical thinking, public speaking, and collaborative problem-solving while exposing participants to complex socio-economic realities.

Teams were required to quickly analyze situations and respond using both HR concepts and situational judgment, highlighting the importance of balancing theoretical knowledge with practical empathy and human insight.
Together, these academic events created an intellectually stimulating environment, encouraging participants to think critically, collaborate effectively, and apply their classroom learning to practical situations.
The cultural segment of Day 1 brought vibrant energy and artistic expression to the fest, beginning with StreetVerse: Echoes, an unplugged music competition organized by Team Nirvana. Participants delivered soulful acoustic performances, captivating the audience with their vocal talent and emotional connection to the music. The event celebrated raw musical expression, allowing performers to showcase their creativity without the use of elaborate technical support.
The cultural festivities continued with StreetVerse: A Brand Runway, organized by the PR Club, Prachar. Social Arcades
The second day of the fest opened with an engaging event titled “The Grey Verdict: Stories from the Crossroads”, organized by Sahitya - The Literature Club. This unique activity reimagined beloved fictional characters as courtroom defendants and petitioners. Each participant stepped into the shoes of a character, presenting arguments in a lively mock-trial format. The event's central idea was to explore the “grey areas” in classic stories—those morally ambiguous spaces where right and wrong blur. Participants crafted alternative interpretations, twisted backstories, and complex moral dilemmas, breathing fresh life into familiar narratives.

The second event of the day was “Street Shuffle”, a collaborative art activity where participants worked in teams of 4-6. Each team created a single artwork in relay style, with members adding their contributions one after another under strict time limits and without verbal communication. This rule ensured spontaneity and surprise, as the artwork evolved organically with each new addition. The final pieces, displayed and evaluated for rewards, captured diverse perspectives on street life and urban culture. The activity not only produced visually engaging results but also strengthened teamwork, adaptability, and creative confidence, as participants learned to merge individual ideas into a collective composition.

Adding a touch of craft and creativity, Kala organized a Crochet Workshop in the Seminar Hall. This event invited participants to explore the intricate art of crochet, blending patience, skill, and imagination. Under guidance, attendees experimented with threads and hooks to create small patterns and designs, discovering how a simple loop could evolve into beautiful textures and motifs. The workshop provided a calm and engaging contrast to the fest's high-energy activities, allowing participants to slow down, focus, and express themselves through handmade artistry. It celebrated the essence of “StreetVerse” by connecting traditional craft with contemporary creativity, highlighting how everyday skills and grassroots art forms continue to thrive in modern culture.

The alumni brought a thrilling experience with “The Charminar Chase”, which transformed a classroom into the bustling streets of Charminar, complete with themed stalls and ambient street sounds. Teams of 4-5 participants, accompanied by volunteers from the Alumni Club, were “locked” inside this recreated marketplace. To escape, they had to solve a series of interconnected riddles hidden among the stalls, each clue leading them closer to the final key. The challenge was to break out within 10-15 minutes, testing not only problem-solving skills but also teamwork and quick thinking. The immersive setup and fast-paced format made the event both exciting and memorable, perfectly capturing the energy of street life within the fest's “StreetVerse” theme.
The Mess Committee added flavor to the day with “Galli Gourmet”, a vibrant street food cooking competition. In this single-round contest, participants prepared Indian street food dishes of their choice, celebrating the diversity and creativity of local flavors. True to the fest's theme, “StreetVerse”, the event highlighted grassroots food culture and urban influences, with dishes reflecting the narratives of India's bustling streets. Judging focused on creativity, taste, hygiene, and presentation, without the pressure of elimination rounds. The atmosphere was lively and aromatic, as participants showcased not just culinary skill but also the stories and spirit behind Indian street food.

The day's energy peaked with “Sync or Sink”, a dynamic dance competition organized by Hunar. The event featured two categories—solo and group performances—giving participants the chance to showcase both individual talent and collective artistry. In the solo category, dancers captivated the audience with their unique styles, blending classical, contemporary, and street-inspired moves. Each performance reflected personal creativity and confidence, as participants interpreted rhythm and theme in their own way. The group category brought a different kind of thrill, emphasizing synchronization, teamwork, and stage presence. Teams delivered coordinated routines that highlighted unity and collaboration, while also leaving space for improvisation and surprise elements.
