The Art Club - Kala successfully conducted a 3D Painting Workshop on 9th January 2026 at the SCMS Hyderabad campus. The workshop was conducted under the guidance of the instructor, Mr. SSR Krishna. The workshop aimed to familiarize students with the fundamentals of 3D art, focusing on creating depth, perspective, and realistic visual effects using simple painting techniques.
The session began with an introduction to 3D painting concepts. The instructor, Mr. SSR Krishna, showcased three of his own 3D artworks to help participants better understand depth, perspective, and visual illusion, followed by a live demonstration explaining how shading, highlights, and angles contribute to the illusion of three-dimensionality. Participants were then guided step-by-step to create their own 3D artworks using provided materials.
Students actively engaged in the process, collectively working on the artworks while experimenting with forms, textures, and creative ideas. The workshop encouraged interaction, peer support, and open discussions, creating an inspiring and collaborative environment. By the end of the session, the participants collectively completed two 3D paintings, reflecting teamwork, shared creativity, and their understanding of 3D painting techniques.
Overall, the workshop was well-received and proved to be an enriching experience, motivating students to explore innovative art techniques and strengthening interest in future Art Club - Kala initiatives.
