Brief Report:

On February 7th, 2024, the International Cell of Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies, Hyderabad, organized a fruitful discussion with representatives from global universities to explore the diverse management courses available for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. The talk commenced with an address by Dr. Disha Pathak, faculty at Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies, Hyderabad. Dr. Pathak emphasized the importance of exploring international academic opportunities in management studies. After that the all the guests were welcomed to delivered details regarding their University and offerings. Representatives from esteemed universities such as Franklin University, Switzerland; SOAS University of London; Montclair University, USA; and the University of South Dakota shared detailed information about their respective programs, curriculum structures, and career prospects.

   Sara Diviani, representing Franklin University, Switzerland, presented their distinguished program, the MS in International Management, which comprises 45 US credits. She gave a clear elaboration on the comprehensive curriculum designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in global business environments.

2. Kimberly Tritton - SOAS University of London:

   Kimberly Tritton, representing SOAS University of London, highlighted the institution's regional specializations in social sciences, offering a unique perspective on management education. The university's interdisciplinary approach aims to provide students with a holistic understanding of societal dynamics alongside traditional management studies that plays a crucial role in the educational.

3. Naomi Jeehae - Montclair University, USA:

   Naomi introduced Montclair University's offerings, which include both an MBA program and an MS in Business Analytics. Attendees gained insights into the diverse opportunities available, with a focus on practical applications in business analytics to address contemporary challenges.

4. Patrick John - University of South Dakota:

   Patrick elaborated on the University of South Dakota's MSBA program, which includes prerequisite courses totaling 27 credit hours, two business essentials courses, and elective options totaling 12 credit hours. Attendees learned about the comprehensive curriculum designed to develop essential skills in business analytics, preparing students for leadership roles in data-driven decision-making processes.

Following the presentations, an interactive session allowed students to engage with the speakers and seek clarification on various program details and career prospects. Their inquiries ranged from curriculum specifics to internship opportunities to financial aid, demonstrating a keen interest in leveraging international academic opportunities to advance their careers in management. The Session helped the students to gain a deep understanding about the international management curriculum, in turn giving a much wider aspect of the curriculum. The students, well equipped with the questions had an interesting and interactive session with the representatives.
