The second activity was drawing competition which took place in the TT room. This competition offers several benefits for children, contributing to both their cognitive and emotional development. It allows them to explore their imagination and express their ideas visually. It encourages them to think creatively and come up with original concepts, fostering them to think out of the box.

The kids were given sheets of papers and crayons and it was time to showcase their artistic skills. Within a time span of 45 mins, the kids were asked to draw and then later their drawings were judged by the head and co- head of “KALA”, the art club of SCMS-H. 4 winners were selected and were awarded with 50 shades of crayons.

While the kids were being provided with the food, the packaging team were engaged in getting the gifts and packages ready for the kids to take home which was like a token of gratitude, given to express the heartwarming presence of children.

It was followed by distribution of gifts to them. Each kid was provided with an individual package which included chocolates, pencil pouch, pencils and some snacks. It was heartwarming and wholesome seeing the kid’s reaction to their gifts.

After the gift distribution, the event came to an end and everyone left on a happy note. It was a soul-filling activity for the members of Ikshana club as well because we had the opportunity to put a smile on these angel faces.
