Summary

Event Name: Camera Basic Workshop

Objective:

The primary objective of this workshop was to provide club members with fundamental knowledge on camera basics. The session aimed to enhance their photography and videography skills, equipping them with practical techniques for capturing high-quality images and videos using their smartphones.

Outcomes:

  • Participants gained a comprehensive understanding of camera fundamentals, including lighting, composition, and angles.
  • Members learned practical techniques to improve photo and video quality using their phones.
  • The workshop encouraged creative expression and boosted confidence in using cameras effectively.
  • Attendees can now apply their learning in club activities and personal projects.

Brief Report:

The Camera Basics Workshop was conducted by Capture – The Photography Club on March 20th, 2025. The session was designed to offer both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practice, ensuring an engaging and informative experience for all participants.

The workshop was structured as follows:

  1. Introduction: The session began with a brief overview of the objectives and schedule.
  2. Video Session: Educational videos covering the fundamentals of camera handling, setting, and framing were presented.
  3. Hands-on Training: A live demonstration was conducted, illustrating how to take high-quality photos and videos using smartphones.
  4. Interactive Practice: Participants engaged in practical exercises, implementing the concepts learned.
  5. Q&A Session: An open discussion allowed attendees to clarify doubts and receive personalized guidance.

VENUE & REQUIREMENTS:

The workshop was held in Room No. 108. A projector was used for video demonstrations, and proper seating arrangements were made for all participants.

ATTENDANCE & PARTICIPATION:

An attendance sheet was maintained to record participant details. Active engagement was encouraged through interactive exercises, ensuring that all attendees had the opportunity to apply their learning.

CONCLUSION:

The Camera Basics Workshop successfully met its objectives, providing participants with essential skills to enhance their photography and videography capabilities. The event received positive feedback, and members expressed enthusiasm for future sessions on advanced topics.

It is a matter of Policy that Symbiosis International (Deemed University) does not charge capitation fee for admission from students  and this is widely and prominently published as well on all the relevant places like prospectus, website, Admission Booklets, etc.

All aspirants / parents are hereby notified that some individuals and/or organisations are giving / making false and misleading advertisements / claims in newspapers, websites, social media platforms or other means that they can secure/ ensure admission to various programme offered by Symbiosis International (Deemed University). Such individuals or organisations may also seek or demand money from aspirants or their parents in consideration of such purported assurances.

Aspirants and parents are advised to rely only on information and communications issued through the University's official channels, and to independently verify any claim regarding admission made by any third party.

It is informed at large that the University has not authorised or appointed any individual, agent, consultant or organisation to guarantee, assure or otherwise represent that admission to any course or programme, can be secured against payment of money or through any means other than the prescribed admission process. In this regard, Symbiosis International (Deemed University) requests the aspirants / parents to refrain from entering into any transaction with such elements. Despite this Notice, if any aspirant / parent still proceeds with or enters into transaction with such elements, they would be doing so at their own risk and cost.

Symbiosis International (Deemed University) further notifies that any aspirant attempting to approach Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admission through or at the instances of such agents will be permanently debarred from admission to all the courses and programmes at Symbiosis International (Deemed University).
