Objective:
To foster and encourage creativity, innovation as well as teamworking and leadership skills through various academic, cultural and sports activities.
To promote inter-college collaboration and networking by engaging several esteemed institutions.
To showcase and celebrate artistic, intellectual and athletic skills through various competitions and events.
Outcome:
Cultural events provided participants a platform for participant to showcase their artistic talents.
Academic events exposed students to real-world business and management situations – and they performed exceptionally well showcasing creativity and spontaneity.
Sports events helped display athletic skills while fostering teamwork and leadership skills.
BRIEF REPORT:
SYNERGIA’25, hosted by SCMS-H, on the 20th, 21st, and 22nd of February 2025, officially commenced with a dignified inauguration ceremony on the 21st of February at 9:30 AM.
The ceremony began with a vibrant performance by Team Nirvana, followed by an energetic showcase by Club Hunar, setting an enthusiastic tone for the fest. Dr. K. P. Venugopal Rao, Director of SCMS Hyderabad, delivered the welcome address, emphasizing the importance of such events in fostering talent and leadership.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Mr. C. Partha Sarathi, IAS (Retd.), who shared valuable insights on perseverance, ethics, and innovation, inspiring the young audience.
The inauguration concluded with the official declaration of SYNERGIA’25 being open, marking the start of an exciting three-day celebration of creativity, competition, and collaboration.

Day 0 – Staff Sports Event
On February 20th, 2025, the campus buzzed with energy as the festivities began with a dynamic staff sports event held at the Sports Complex. All the faculty and staff members participated enthusiastically, stepping away from their regular academic roles to engage in friendly matches of box cricket, chess, and carrom.
The spirited matches not only brought out the competitive side of the participants but also fostered a strong sense of camaraderie, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The atmosphere was lively and filled with laughter, cheers, and moments of genuine bonding, showcasing the vibrant community spirit that SCMS-H proudly upholds.
The staff sports event set a positive and inclusive tone for SYNERGIA'25, reinforcing the idea that celebration and collaboration extend beyond students to embrace the entire SCMS-H family.

DAY 1
The event flow on Day 1 was a cascade of thrilling experiences that engaged participants and spectators alike. Post-inauguration, a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony ceremoniously signalled the official commencement of all scheduled sports events, marking the beginning of a spirited and energetic series of competitions.

DAY 1- Sports Event
Day 1 progressed with high energy as E-sports events, featuring Valorant and FC25, engaged participants from 11:30 AM onwards. The digital arena witnessed intense competition, strategic gameplay, and enthusiastic participation.
At the same time, the outdoor fields buzzed with matches in foosball, basketball, and volleyball for both boys and girls, continuing with scheduled breaks until 10:30 PM. The spirited matches reflected strong teamwork and vibrant campus energy. Meanwhile, cricket matches had already begun at 8:00 AM, setting an early tone of excitement for the day.
Together, the day’s sporting events captured the dynamic spirit of SYNERGIA'25, blending physical and digital competitions in an engaging celebration of sportsmanship.

DAY 1- Academic Activities
The event was further enriched by academic and cultural activities, adding diverse flavors to SYNERGIA'25. One standout was Tatva, hosted by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC). Participants were tasked with testing their critical thinking as they devised strategies to rescue businesses in crisis. Teams analyzed complex scenarios and proposed innovative solutions, showcasing their entrepreneurial skills. Tatva combined intellectual challenges with real-world application, reflecting the dynamic and engaging spirit of the fest.

The next engaging activity was Fiction Flicks, organized by the Literature Club, Sahitya. This event challenged participants to test their creative writing skills under time constraints. Writers were given visual prompts and tasked with creating compelling stories on the spot, tapping into their spontaneous creativity. The event pushed participants to think quickly, adapt to the given prompts, and craft narratives that were both engaging and thought-provoking.
Fiction Flicks not only showcased participants' ability to write under pressure but also celebrated the beauty of storytelling, encouraging originality and inventive thinking. It proved to be a dynamic blend of creativity and literary talent, contributing to the rich cultural experience of SYNERGIA'25.

DAY 1- Cultural Activities
The cultural events began with Team Nirvana’s Dil Kya Kare solo singing competition from 1:30 to 2:30 PM, where participants captivated the audience with their powerful vocal performances. The event showcased their singing skills and emotional connection to the songs.
From 3:30 to 5:00 PM, Club Hunar’s Prop It Up challenged dancers to incorporate surprise props into their routines. This event tested participants' creativity and adaptability, blending choreography with unexpected elements for dynamic performances.
These events brought a rich blend of creativity and talent to SYNERGIA'25, highlighting the diverse cultural expressions of the participants.

The day culminated with a dazzling Fashion Show, Chic In The Shadows, held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The event brought together a stunning array of avant-garde styles, where models strutted the runway showcasing cutting-edge fashion trends. The show featured bold and innovative designs, pushing the boundaries of traditional fashion and blending artistic expression with contemporary style.
Each segment of the show captivated the audience with its unique themes and dramatic flair, leaving a lasting impression of creativity and sophistication. The stunning outfits, combined with dramatic lighting and music, created a mesmerizing atmosphere, making Chic In The Shadows a fitting and glamorous finale to the day's festivities.

The day wrapped up with the much-anticipated prize distribution ceremony, where participants were recognized for their impressive performances across various events. After the awards, everyone had the chance to unwind and enjoy the evening with an electrifying DJ Night. The vibrant music and lively atmosphere gave everyone the perfect opportunity to relax, dance, and enjoy the moment, bringing a great end to the first day of SYNERGIA'25.
DAY-2
Day 2 of SYNERGIA'25 kept the energy high, kicking off with sporting events that ran from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The outdoor fields buzzed with enthusiasm as participants engaged in various physical competitions, continuing the excitement from Day 1.
DAY-2 Academic Events
Amidst the sporting events, the academic challenge Revive and Thrive, held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, provided a platform for participants to showcase their strategic thinking. In this challenge, teams were tasked with resurrecting failed products, such as the Tata Nano, by developing innovative strategies to bring them back to life in the market. The challenge pushed participants to think creatively, analyze market dynamics, and propose actionable ideas for revitalizing these products.
The competition saw intense participation, but in the end, it was the first-year students who triumphed, taking home the first prize with their exceptional ideas and teamwork. Their win was a testament to their fresh perspectives and innovative approach to problem-solving.

Concurrently, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the Pottery Workshop offered participants a creative and relaxing escape. The workshop provided an opportunity for attendees to unwind and explore their artistic side by working with clay. People from all across the campus took part, engaging in hands-on experiences to shape and mould their own pottery creations. The calm and focused environment allowed participants to tap into their creativity while also providing a break from the more intense competitions of the day. It was a unique and enjoyable way for everyone to express themselves artistically and engage in a fun, stress-relieving activity.

DAY-2 Cultural Events
In the afternoon, the musical vibes returned with Team Nirvana’s Aawara Bhawre from 1:30 to 3:00 PM, a duet/trio singing competition that brought together participants in harmonizing performances. The competition showcased incredible vocal talent, with each team pouring their heart into the music, delivering renditions of popular songs. The event not only highlighted the contestants' singing skills but also their ability to blend voices and create a memorable musical experience. The atmosphere was lively, filled with applause and appreciation for the performers' ability to connect with the audience through their voices.
Simultaneously, Radio Mirchi, one of the event sponsors, hosted an engaging and entertaining session from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. This session gave participants the chance to showcase their wit and comedic timing, as they created clever catchphrases and shared their unique sense of humour. The interactive session was filled with laughter and fun, as participants competed to outdo each other in creativity.
Club Hunar’s Global Groove, a group dance contest, took place from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, electrifying the auditorium with dynamic performances. Dancers from different groups brought their A-game, blending various dance styles with vibrant energy, leaving the audience captivated by their passion and creativity.
